Newage Testing Instruments is accredited by A2LA as a provider of proficiency testing. Newage meets the requirements of ILAC Guide 13: “Guidelines for the Requirements for the Competence of Providers of Proficiency Testing Schemes” (based on ISO/IEC Guide 43-1:1197, relevant elements of ISO/IEC 17025:1999, and relevant ISO 9001-1994 requirements).

Newage Testing Instruments offers calibration and verification services for all of your hardness testing instrumentation per industry standards such as ASTM E18 and ISO 6508-2. Our field service technicians are factory-trained and accredited to provide you with accurate and economical calibration support. All calibrations include verification with “As Found As Left” documentation.

- Verify Vickers and Knoop measuring system using standardized hardness blocks (Indirect Method)
- Assure that machine load is properly set and can be applied without shock or vibration
- Verify condition of the diamond indenter
- Provide both Indirect and Direct Verification Methods
Durometer Shore Hardness Testers
- Durometer spring is calibrated by applying a measurable force to the indenter tip and using a load cell capable of measuring applied force at 50% of the calibration tolerance
- This is a factory calibration only service
