The MS250-ASW is the the only system available designed inhouse specifically for Vickers and Knoop Microhardness Testing and Case Depth Analysis.  The system uses high-load XY tables with built in optical encoders for the highest precision as well as exceptional focus capabilities. Both the X/Y travel and focus (Z axis) are controlled automatically or manually in several ways to maximize ease of use for a variety of applications. Unique LED illumination and automatic measurement algorithms make it easy to get readings even on very shiny, etched, or dark stained specimens that would foil most competitive units.  Inhouse programming also facilitates customization for your application - customization that can be done cost-effectively and quickly, as well as be supported directly by Newage.

  • High precision, high load, optical encoder based tables
  • Reduced operator influence with automated or manual on-screen measurement.
  • Significantly improves productivity.
  • Options for automatic, computerized case depth traverses with manual or high-speed motorized X/Y tables and automatic focus controls.
  • Reports and data storage are automatic
  • Demonstrations available.
