Packing and Shipping Instructions
CAUTION: Hardness Testers are both heavy and delicate.
Please take a few minutes to read the information
about the proper packing and shipping
for your product and make certain your shipping personnel also understand.
Some General Instructions that Apply to Returning Most Testers:
1) It's always a good idea to CONTACT THE FACTORY first to discuss your particular service or calibration problem in order to be sure the problem or calibration service requires shipment. If you are in a hurry for this service, talk to the factory about sending the product in via UPS red next day air - we need to make sure that the proper person(s) will be available to look at the tester. Also make sure that you send the correct component(s) in and to make certain
2) Following are links to download packing and shipping instructions. Many operation manuals also include specific information regarding packaging of equipment to be returned to the factory. Read and follow these instructions. In the absence of an operating manual call the 215-526-2200 and ask for instructions. We are usually happy to forward a pdf version of manuals for standard testers or send a printed, comb-bound copy for $25 plus shipping.
CAUTION: Do not use packing peanuts or other loose fill.
